We live in a digital world, but we don’t work in one. We are digital consumers, we consume a lot services, we connect to different platforms, such as shopping with Amazon, traveling with Uber, taking a flight. We are digitally connected to these different platforms. What this means is that there are no silos, there’s very little friction. If I want to take an uber, in two clicks I’m connected to the driver of the uber, I know exactly where he is, he knows exactly where I am, both of us are totally united until we finish this journey.

This is not the environment that we work in today. In the work environment we deal with a lot of files and a lot of static information which is trapped in different applications and systems, and it needs to be managed. The different departments of a company, from sales to engineering, from design to manufacturing or project management work disconnected, there is no digital continuity on processes or data produced by all the stakeholders of the company, leading to errors, rework, delays, lower profit and loss of customers to the competition.
