- Integrates physical elements used in their training process
- Minimizes associated training costs and reduces risks
Virtualware | https://www.virtualwareco.com/es/proyectos/simulador-realidad-virtual-general-electric-hitachi/ The transfer of fuel is a complex task, which requires high preparation and coordination among the different people involved in the process. GE Hitachi trusted in Virtualware to develop an advanced simulator that allows to train in fuel movement operations more efficiently and without watering through their immersive room solution: VIROO. The virtual reality fuel movement simulator is an initiative that improves the capacities of the operating personnel, through a meticulous training, contributing to the reduction of costs as well as risks. It supposes a revolution in training in the nuclear field through tailor-made training solutions, just-in-time, contributing to the reduction of operational costs associated with training and quality problems. The system also uses a physical replica of the necessary equipment that is connected directly to the virtual environment. This simulator is the first of these features worldwide and a part of a new generation of simulators that GE Hitachi will launch on the market in the coming years, (not only for reactors with BWR technology but also for PWR and D&D), in partnership with Virtualware.
